hoeing the Rows

Week one at the farm and kind of rushing to get the rows prepped.   Just so ya know, there is no rushing hoeing, raking, spreading compost, collecting bagged leaves from neighbors and spreading leaves in aisles...and irrigation.  You are at the mercy of murphy's law and mother nature and your own body!  This is a good thing to remember and one of the many reasons I love to farm.  Solid, hard work and everything in it's time and at it's natural pace. I need to remember to slow down and enjoy the process each time...I'm trying!  It does feel good to see what's happened in just a few days....looking forward to next week and maybe trying to wrangle some volunteers
